Volunteers Gather to Pamper Homeless
(Local Mission Hosts 3nd Annual Glam-A-Thon Event For Homeless Residents)
Orlando, FL– A Mission Glam Squad of volunteers will join forces to “Glam-Slam” homeless guests of the Orlando Union Rescue Mission (OURM) at this Friday’s Glam-A-Thon. First Class Cleaners has donated hundreds of pieces of clothing that female residents with one-on-one sessions with a personal stylist and wardrobe makeovers. Also participating, Good Life 45 host Barbara Beck will serve as OURM’s “GLAMbassador.”
As part of the event, moms will get glammed up by makeup artists and hairstylists, while daughters get pampered at “Mini-Glam Stations.” Not to be forgotten, sons and fathers will be treated to haircuts and “MAN”-icures. The evening with culminate in dessert service at The Grand Bohemian for all of the female residents.
