Local Mission Hosts Annual Thanksgiving Banquet Today
Orlando, FL – Today Orlando Union Rescue Mission (OURM) will host its annual Great Thanksgiving Banquet, where staff members and volunteers are expected to serve between 1,100 and 1,300 meals. The event will take place at the current Men’s Center
location on the corner of Central Boulevard and Division Street. Free and open to anyone in the community in need of a hot meal, the banquet will feature a traditional Thanksgiving spread of turkey and stuffing, green beans, sweet potatoes and rolls as well as a smorgasbord of holiday pies sweets generously donated by members of the community.
Volunteers from all walks of life will help prepare and serve the meal as well as dispense hygiene packs and other giveaways, donated by various Central Florida schools, churches, businesses, and residents.
Time: 11 am-2pm
