As Central Florida’s vulnerable men, women, and children continue to struggle, we’re facing significant deficiencies at the Orlando Union Rescue Mission that could affect our capacity.

We must renovate and repair the roof and structure of our men’s shelter, which has been damaged by severe winds and rain. In addition, we need to renovate our gymnasium, which we use as an overflow shelter space during emergencies like hurricanes.

These renovations and repairs are more than just mere “upgrades.” With this restoration, which will cost $111,500, we’ll have the facilities and capacity to welcome more individuals and families through our doors. This is especially critical now, as we head into the busiest season of the year.
